about the artist
Marco (Jennifer Adrian Moramarco)
My artwork can best be described as Abstract Expressionism, Cubism and Post-Impressionism and sometimes a combination of all three. I love to explore multiple colors and textures while aiming to create a balance between the familiar and the abstract. I often play with scale and add multiple layers of paint and colors to better capture depth, movement and mood. I tend to anthropomorphize my paintings so I feel that every piece I create takes on a life of its own directed by itself.
I discovered a love of creating art before Kindergarten and I continued to create through college, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona in 1997.
My goal as a professional artist is to push past the traditional rules of line and form and use my style of combining colors, depth, texture and shapes to create one-of-a-kind pieces that elicit positivity.
In addition to my paintings, I have collaborated with my professional artist husband on multiple public art projects for the City of Temecula in California, and we will have a joint art exhibition at the Temecula Valley Museum in March 2025. My artwork in currently on display at Gallery M in Murrieta, CA, and in private collections throughout the United States.
I hope my love of creating shines through each work and that it inspires viewers to add interest and beauty to the places they live, work and love!
